The journey these Swedes have made is without a doubt one of the more interesting ones in the modern death metal scene.

Perhaps less proggy, definitely less death metal-ly, definitely more concise. Definitely brilliant. Don't miss this gem.

I love this album to pieces but how anyone could call this album underrrated is totally beyond me.

In the underground, yes. Even in Finland, where metal is quite highly regarded in general, Tribulation are actually quite unknown.

For a band with just three full-lengths behind their belt this has gotten a ton of exposure and has ended up on numerous end-of-year lists. Far from underground and very far from underrated.

I think they lost their balance a bit here. A more DMy approach suits better. Not a bad record at all, though. Love the fact that they are developing a certain sound not heard before.

Much better than I expected, reminds me of Dissection's Reinkaos at times which is a good thing.

Another great album, there's some incredible moments here and there which for me outweighs it's slightly uneven structure on the grand scale. I'm torn on whether I prefer this to the follow-up though, both are great although vastly different.
