I still haven't listened to that Evoke Thy Lords album, and I totally bloody loved the previous one. That Clarence Clarity is also something I need to check out it seems.

Both of those records are fun listens. I think the opening of that Evoke Thy Lords album still gets my interest, even after multiple listens. Clarence Clarity, on the other hand, takes a wild unorthodox approach to electronic pop and is definitely worth a gander. It was the only album I was listening to for a couple of months....
Then again, I haven't been the biggest fan of the music this year. Nowadays, anything that pops out as fun and/or interesting tends to bias my thinking, even if the quality of the music is subpar.

That Clarence Clarity is one hell of an original take on a sound I have to say. I can say my appreciation of it definitely outweighs my enjoyment, but I did like a lot of it for sure.

Have you checked out The Moth Gatherer - The Earth Is The Sky ? Overlooked, possible post metal AOTY.

I have not, but I know that you and R'Vannith and maybe Musclassia are into The Moth Gatherer so that would probably be worth checking out. I'll absolutely look into it. I also need to look into the new Intronaut- apparently that has been receiving very good reviews, too!

Hey man, as you may know (or not know) in 2015 I really didn't do a great job following my favorite genre, or metal music for that matter. I am slowly starting to catch up. Here is a good one:

Listening to Earthside right now. Wow. Impressive stuff and what a roster of vocalists. How the hell did they get the Moscow Symphony Orchestra for this - they are a band from Connecticut! Excellent choice for your list!

Earthside has been receiving lots of acclaim from other websites and I'm surprised they never trickled over here! Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Thought you would like this.
First few songs sound absolutely wicked. Thanks for sharing, my friend. This could be one of the better albums from 2015, imo.
