Snowy Shaw - To Live-Stream Album Release Party
Prolific Swedish journeyman Snowy Shaw (King Diamond, Therion, Dream Evil, and others) has announced the release of his first full-length solo album, entitled White Is The New Black, and invites all of his fans to join him for the live streaming of a release party. A specific date for the album's release has not yet been set, but it is expected to arrive in May; the release party, however, will be held on Saturday, April 21st, in Snowy's headquarters, Hellhaus, and will be streamed on his official YouTube channel from 9 p.m. to midnight CEST (or noon to 3 p.m. PST, 6 to 9 p.m. BRST). The party will include live performances, Q&A sessions, and a general environment of party-appropriate mayhem.
White Is The New Black will be the first studio album released by Snowy Shaw under his own name, though several live albums precede it. The album features guest performances by several noteworthy artists, including Ross The Boss (ex-Manowar), Joakim Brodén (Sabaton), Niklas "Viper" Stålvind (Wolf), Jake E (CyHra, ex-Amaranthe), and Nick Night (Dream Evil), and contains several songs previously released under Snowy's name. The album will be released on Snowy's label, Wunderwurld Music, and can be preordered here.
