Brothers Of Metal is a band from Sweden who formed in 2012 but only in 2017 did they release their first album, Prophecy Of Ragnarök. Only after signing with AFM Records have they begun to become globally known.

Emblas Saga is the second album of the band and follows what was done, lyrically and musically, on the first one whilst improving it. Here, they mixed power, folk and heavy metal, a sound that make us remember bands like Ensiferum, Eluveitie or even Nightwish. The greatest characteristic of this album is the variety of styles from each song, such that the record has a song for everyone. That variety didn't take them down the path of doing a generic loose album; on the contrary, they managed to deliver a well-produced and well-structured album. With the lyrics, they constructed a good story representing the themes and scenarios they want us to live, having 3 or 4 catchy songs for us to easily remember and sing, such as "Hel", "Kaunaz Dagaz" and "Theft Of The Hammer". I think the album is probably too long, and to listen it all you need to be in a mood to do it; the last 3, 4 songs start to sound like another song that we heard already, and it looks like they started to lose the energy present in the first ones, making the end of the album not so epic an end as it should be.

Emblas Saga makes us hungry for more, and makes us wish for them to make a booking nearby in order to have the opportunity to see the band and all the atmosphere and scenarios that they create in the album.

Brothers Of Metal will be one of the bands to take into consideration in the future, and I think and hope they will become as great and successful as Ensiferum or Nightwish, because they have already started on a good path to do it.
