E-an-na - Release Surprise EP And Video
Romanian folk metal band E-an-na has already proven its desire to break outside of the folk metal norms with their previous EP, the tango Fascinathanatango EP, and now they released a surprise EP that mixes modern metal and Eastern European traditional music. M.L.R. was released on the 29th of September along with a music video for the track "Malere", which features guest vocals from Bogdan Muşuroia (stylized as "Bogdan de la Vâlcea").

The band said the following about the EP: "The EP M.L.R. came to life due to our desire to tear down the walls between two opposite musical cultures, modern metal & eastern influenced traditional music. Our love for music and art in general made us see past the rules created by society and we had so much fun creating something which felt like artistic freedom."

Written by Bad English on 30.09.2021 at 12:33 Even though it (may) sound the same, this is manele. Turbofolk is mostly for the countries of former Yugoslavia. Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Romania has manele.
