Gammacide - Announce Reunion Show

Old school Texas thrashers Gammacide just announced on their Facebook page that they are reuniting for their first show in over a decade at the 2025 edition of the Hell's Heroes festival in Houston, TX. As of late, the band has not yet announced any additional live shows, nor plans to record a new album, which would have been their first since 1989's Victims Of Science.

Gammacide wrote: "We are very excited to announce that a reformed Gammacide will be bringing our own brand of TOXIC TEXAS THRASH to HOUSTON, TX for HELL'S HEROES 2025! Look at this incredible roster of bands! This will be a show NOT TO MISS! More details coming soon!"

Incredible. If not now, we are definitely looking forward to a follow-up Victims of Science album very very soon.

Following up a perfect album that's about 35 years old like Victims Of Science may be somewhat of a challenge, but I'm definitely down for some new Gammacide, if that's happening.

Chances looks bleak if you already set the parameter and expectation very fucking high. Victims was no less than a classic release. If they can somewhat emulate the same flavours, the job is done. Look what Judas Priest did.
