Ok, now let's talk about fucking Brutal stuff. Disgorge is know as one of the most brutal bands out there, and it takes only one look to their sick covers or one spin to their CD's to understand why. Chronic Corpora Infest was their first full length, released by one of the greatest labels in the scene (American Line Productions and Joel Morales); this album is a putrid pile of gore, guts, blood, and fucking twisted music.

The vocals (performed by the now EX-Disgorge Antimo) are insanely great, some effects are used of course, but still it sounds really aggressive. The vocal work sounds like a huge monster puking thick blood while singing some impossible to understand lyrics (I'll get to that later). The music is also incredible, the drummer is a mastermind, he manages to create brutal patterns without masturbating that annoying blast-beat; the irregular beats are everywhere and generally speaking the drum-work is very decent. Then we have the guitar riffs, somehow minimalist stuff actually, but fucking catchy and brutal indeed, you won't be able to stop head-banging while hearing those incredible guitar riffs.

Now let me write something about the lyrics; it's all about weird diseases, pus, cysts and feces, or at least I think it is. Most words in the booklet are about medical or forensic terminology, so it's actually difficult to follow the theme and shit, but who gives a shit about this, the music is great and that's what matters; besides, Carcass did the same thing long time ago and nobody said anything.

The best track in "Chronic Corpora Infest" is "Rancid Bowel Sarcoma, this tune is fucking great, structured awesomely with a lot of layered riffs (there's even a tiny guitar solo), the breakdowns and bridges are outstanding, even the vocal support (by Alfonso Artgore) is unbelievable; this song will blow your brains out instantly, and when the song ends you'll be like "Shit, what the fuck was that?Oh crap¡ I think I pissed my pants again?".

Are you into brutal stuff? Then you must love Disgorge already, but if you like gore bands and you don't own this record, what are you waiting for, go now and buy it, your CD collection is empty without "Chronic Corpora Infest".
