01. Osiris Eyes
02. Another Day
03. Garden Of Eden
I was getting used to receive Gothic Metal bands from Holland, but when I received this package, I knew that we were not dealing with nothing Gothic here, come 'on look at the cover art! I don't know what is about sub-genres of Metal and it's covers that you can tell almost right away what kind of music you're dealing with, in this case I bet on Heavy Metal or Progressive Metal, well, REVIVER turned out to be good 'ol Heavy Metal!
As soon as played this 3-track Ep, one thing came to my head, well 2 two thing, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, the first track "Osiris Eyes" reminded me of older Maiden but with a touch of their own, it had that galloping rhythm that the Maidens made so popular back in the eighties , anyway first track is really good!
Other thing that caught my attention was the vocalist, has a deep and really aggressive voice, in some bits reminds me of Rob Halford. Second track, "Another Day" a more mid-paced song with more elements from the eighties that the previous one, a little Hard Rock influence here, mainly in the chorus, still, another great song, Hmm 2 of 3, let's see the third one?
Last song, "Garden Of Eden" another mid-paced one, damn, I was expecting another speedy one, but it doesn't matter, because is a cool song also, I'm really liking this, I could listen a full-length by this guys easily, I really like the vocalist.
Anyway 3 songs is too little material to judge a band, but this guys can deliver a full-length full of songs like this ones, we have a winner here!
