Not again? no please, NOT again, another "Seven" band? I'm getting really tired of mentioning this, please STOP naming bands after "SEVEN" something, it's getting very old, as a matter of fact, it got old a long, long time ago? I just don't know what to say to prevent people? is like committing musical suicide! Damn! The "Seven" word should be banned of the metal Community? anyway, I always say, let the music do the talkin', so... talk to me baby!

- knock, knock
- Who is it?
- Hi, there, good afternoon, my name is Andrew Szucs and I'm a young guitar virtuoso!
- Ah... ok? son, don't you think you're like ten years late? Guitar virtuosos are SO out of the scene!
- Really?
- Really? Yngwie Malmsteen killed them all, after him no one wanted to be one, that's when the keyboardists got their chance! You don't play keyboards for a chance?
- Eh?
- Do you play any other instruments?
- Eh... no
- Don't worry, I like you kid, I'm going to help you, here's a tip, gather with a group of friends, and form a band, so you can showcase your abilities, just don't forget the most important things to achieve success, hire an over the top singer, and name your band "Seven" something, you can't go wrong with that!
- You got it! Thank you very much!

Well, that could just me talking, but maybe this is how Seven Seraphim came together as a band, mixing elements that have been done over and over in the Metal scene, a lot of Symphony X and Yngwie Malmsteen, and of course, a great deal of 80's Metal there too.

So, I know that the review looks bad, and this must probably suck big time, the thing is that, I have a weak spot for Guitar Virtuosos and 80's Hard Rock, I spent a lot of time in my youth listening to those kind of bands, and it's been a long time since I haven't listened to any of those type of bands, so, as a reminder of past time, I guess this album is ok.

Some songs especially brought some memories, like "Dance In The Red", The Discordant", "Lady Jade" and "The Rains Keep Falling" they just got all that 80's vibe in them.
So, if you once listened to 80's Metal, this should bring back some memories, if not , you got nothing but unoriginal Power Metal, with some good guitar moments. You're warned, get this one for sentimental value only.
