I feel really bad, the nice people at Hall Of Sermon (especially Nadja) were kind enough to send me a pack of promos a long time ago, I reviewed all of them (all of them great) but I left 2 in the shelf, because I didn't like them at all, and I wanted to give them some more time in case they eventually began to appeal me. Time passed and I didn't listened those albums once! Months after I'm presenting the reviews, and well, I still don't like them, and they're not pleasant reviews either, so let's get over it.
First things first, this is not Metal at all, is more Gothic/Darkwave music, so don't expect any aggression or rough vocals?speaking of which, they're simply obnoxious! I can't listen to one song without being completely annoyed by those unbearable vocals!
Please notice that I didn't use the word "bad" because they're not bad, this gal has a good voice, but she uses it in a way that just pierces my ears, she uses something like a high pitched falsetto without screaming? that's the best way I could find to describe the voice? the voice.. still haunting me.. I must turn? off the stereo.
Not one song worth mention, this is not for metal fans, hey! Is not even Metal!! So don't waste your precious time and money on this one, go find yourself something more? tolerable.
