01. Orion, The Hunter
02. When Lightning Strikes In A snowstorm
03. Summoning The white Knight

Why do the words "Iron Maiden" instantaneously come to my mind when I listen to the demo of this American band? On the album cover you can read Traditional/Epic power metal: well I can't see what's so epic about that, except if Iron Maiden is now considered to be an epic power metal band, which it obviously isn't.

So you can hear where the bands' five members take their inspiration: the beginning of the first song "Orion, the Hunter" is like the beginning of "The number of the beast", the voice reminds me of Paul DiAnno's, the riffs are clearly taken from several listenings to the gods of metal...

For a demo, the production is pretty good (except for the drums that you almost don't hear at all), and creates a sound in the pure Iron Maiden style (yes I repeat myself, but the influence is so obvious...). The members do the job, even though their playing is not at the level of the best bands. Anyway, they are good musicians and they clearly seem enthusiastic. Yet it must be noticed that the singer has trouble taking a high-pitched voice, he is quite often out of tune.

To sum up, this band plays good heavy metal, even though they are absolutely not original. But this band exists only since May 2002, so they still got the time to create their own sound and to show their own personnality. With a bit of work, maybe they could do something in the metal world...
