Texas Chainsaw Debauchery

If you're looking for Black Metal you look towards Norway; if you look for some Gothic Metal, you look towards Finland; if you look for some melodic Death Metal, you look towards Sweden. What if you look for Old School brutal Death Metal? Let's go to Texas baby!

Now that we're on Death Metal capital of America, let's take a look at Exulcerate latest work, as a matter of fact, first work.
These Texans play Death Metal without any remorse or symphaty for those who unlike the genre, their music is fast, relentless and sick. Just look at the song titles for God's sake? Just take a look at the cover art, it has to be one of the sickest things I've ever saw in my life (not really, but still impressive).

Yeah, you got the whole package with this release, gore lyrics, blastbeats, deep growls, rabid riffing and insane drumming. So don't expect originality as a major hook.
The good thing about the band is how they handle their songs, they add enough groove and variation in the vocals to make this an interesting product.

The bad thing about this is that tends to get boring after a few spins, I can't compel myself to listen this more than one time in a row, because it gets repetitive at one point. But still, the next day I'm listening this again.

Chances are that if you already love Death Metal, you'll like this. If you hate and loathe the growlers go back to your sissy melodic Power Metal and leave these guys alone.
Fans of Death Metal get this, not only for the aesthetic value but also for the brutal music contained. Not the most original album of the year, but fairly entertaining.
