Subliminal Fear is a new young band from Italy that plays Gothenburg Death Metal. Some of you will probably say "hoo God, one more?" and I understand your feeling but even if this kind of music is a real trend nowadays, it doesn't mean that all the new band suck right? Subliminal is not a bad band even if they suffer of the real lack of originality but for a first Demo at least it's promising.

There are only three songs on this release but I cannot say that they're bad. Oki it's not original and there is a lot of new bands that come with this kind of release each week but let's be honest Subliminal Fear is not a bad one and I feel a lot of potentiality in this combo. The three songs sound good the riffs are nice and the melodies are catchy. It's classic on a side but some parts extremely melodic give something in addition to the music so it's not a problem to listen to this release, at the opposite it's even enjoyable.

This record is really cool Demo and the musical skill of the musicians is nice (the voice of the singer is a bit average however sometime but it's not dramatic and that's just a matter of experience since it's good in general.). The sound is more than ok and it's promising for the future of the band. As I said let just hope that our guys will find the magical recipe that will lead them to the forgotten countries of the originality.

This is only a demo and the general level of this record is really cool so ok it's maybe unoriginal but at least it's promising and I'm sure that the guys will be able to add their own touches on their future releases. If they're able to do it, then it will pay for the career of Subliminal Fear?
