Don't listen this! Get the fuck out of here!!!
I gotta get it out of my organism, is been a while (and I mean a looong time) since I got this Demo Cd, and now I decide to review it, I didn't wanted to review it because I think it sucks quite frankly, but as a good journalist is my mission to tell the good and the bad of the Metal scene.
These guys come from Switzerland and they claim to play Gothic Metal, which I think is quite far from the truth. I could say they play some kind of Dark Metal with electronic (well, techno) influences and raspy, blackened vocals. Greatly inspired by acts such as Evereve, Rammstein and Paradise Lost.
The problem with the Demo is that the music and the songwriting is quite below average, not one song caught my attention and to be honest with all of you, the vocalist really knows how to get me out of my nerves, doesn't matter if he's singing with his raspy style or his operatic, over the top vox, is just unbearable. Add the fact that the lyrics are in their native tongue and you got yourself a nice, big headache.
Neither the production and the cover art are worth mentioning, so what we have left? Watered down pseudo Gothic Metal with awful vocals and uninspired songwriting.
But as always, they'll find their record contract and release a full-length, just because the style of music they play is a niche nowadays, kids love this kind of stuff, and labels love to shove it down their throats. Another uninspired act will arise while real, honest and interesting bands will remain unknown. Sick world.
