Stupidity is a really hideous think right? Let me write an example: have you ever been in a party where someone asks your opinion about "the psychology of the outrageous globalization that leaves anthropology and Gestalt Studies behind in a twisted attempt of communicating global interests" and you just say "fuck?well? I like beer?and whisky sometimes"? Well let me admit something, this album made me feel that way.

James Fogarty is the only member of this band, a geek? Only god knows, but this CD is one of the most complex albums I've ever heard in a really long time; I'm not sure if that's a good thing though. The album is, for that particular reason, quite difficult to dig and to understand lyrically and musically, I mean, have you ever seen a non experimental or progressive rock album with a hypothesis? At least I haven't. Everything in this album is surrounded by intelligent riffs and intricate structures; the instrumentation is really commendable and the audio samples made me say "what the fuck was that"?

So anyway, about the music per se; it's a weird mix between Dark Metal and Ambient, there are a lot of layered atmospheres hidden in the album; a freaking lot of organ and synthesizer effects (and I mean it when I say a lot) which is actually the backbone of this CD, most tracks would be nothing without the synthesizer or the ambient consoles. The overall execution is magnificent, I can't complain about it because it's actually flawless, the drumming is really amazing if you ask me. So don't worry about this unit, the performance is incredible, if you buy this album you'll hear it yourself so I'm going to stop now.

So there's no flaw in the music, right? Yes, everything is played marvelously, but the turn-off is, as I already said, the convolution laying on the CD. Everything from the concept to the artwork passing by the backgrounds and the arrangements is way too sophisticated, that will please some but will surely bore others, so the final judgment is on you; I liked it because there aren't many bands doing this kind of things, of course originality is always a huge plus; but in an objective view I don't see this album spinning easily in everyone's stereo, so I won't say more?if you like complex stuff try it, if you prefer easy on the ear music I really recommend you to skip this piece.

Best Tracks: "It's Not Reality", "Square Sunrise", "Conspiritus"
