Bennech Lyngboe was one of the two musicians of the acclaimed On The Rise. But well you all know how the line up system works and he decided to leave the band. Now, Bennech Lyngboe is back with the first album of Main Attraction, his new band of AOR music.

At the beginning I must admit that I didn't find anything really outstanding on this album. I mean that it was ok, nice and everything but I didn't find any real hits on the album and it was a bit boring for me. Plus the songs are all really soft (the mixing doesn't help a lot) and well even if they aren't bad I just didn't find nothing special. But well, after some time now, I have to admit that it's not so bad actually. I mean that no ok, "Keep Coming Back" is not the album of the year but finally some songs are catchy and above all, the guitar playing Ronny of Heimdal is really impressive. It gives something more to the album and well even if the songs are a bit weak, this additional point in the music leads to something not so bad. At the end, even if we don't have nothing special on this release, it's not a problem to listen to it.

The sound is unfortunately a bit average, and sometime the guitars are a bit weak. Some other time the keyboards are a lot more powerful than needed and it's a bit boring. It's not a shame really but this little default in the production is a bit disturbing though. I cannot say that it is horrible but it's lacking of punch and that's a bit sad.

"Keep Coming Back" is a cool album of Melodic Rock. It's not the most impressive release of the year too but it's ok and all the ones who like melodic music will probably enjoy this release. Plus, Ronny Heimdal guitar's soli are really nice and beautiful so if you just like to listen to some good guitars, that's for you.
