This band grew enormously after they released "Lifetime Shitlist" a few years ago (and don't get me started on their festival appearances); I remember being in underground forums reading about how good this Japanese band was. Last year they sent me "Dance Hall Grind" to review and damn I was amazed by their power and their skills.

Their music is conventional Grindcore with emasculated lyrics about poo and?poo actually. But, lyrics aside, this band is really good at what they do; they managed to write old school Grindcore supplied with modern elements and skilled structures. After hearing this band again and again since last year, I still can't get used to that annoying high-pitched vocal tone, but then I can't get enough of the brutal growls delivered with such anger that will put Rikard Jansson to shame. Then, their ability to write super-catchy riffs powered by the most brutal and hostile execution still shocks me every single time I push play on my stereo.

"Early Yeah(s)" has enough great songs to be a recommendable disc; the Grindcore followers will be pleased with the results no doubt. Here you have a collector's edition, wrapped with many of the band's greatest and most aggressive songs in their history, so you know what you'll get.

To sum things up
This item is actually for collectors only as it's a 7" compilation limited to 1000 hand numbered copies (I received the #836); it's a collection of great early songs taken from some EP's, Split's and Demos. As easy as it sounds, if you are an avid fanatic of Bathtub Shitter and you already have every single release of theirs (which I doubt it) then skip this album; but if you just have a couple of full lengths, then I suggest you to buy this record as it has a shitload of amazing songs for you to carve.
