This band uses the same textstyle in their bandname as the good old band Coroner (which starts with the 3 same letters). Just to make it clear

Yeah I believe it's a pretty common type of letters. Did you check the music out?

I'm glad to see this review, I think Corrupted are the most criminally overlooked doom metal band on earth, same as the whole Japanese scene... And this is their best album, probably along with the two EPs released last year.

They are indeed too good to be missed out on, that's why I wrote the review. I will probably review the other two full-lengths I am soon getting too.
By the way, those two EP's are only released on vinyl, right? Damn shame.

Yes, all their EPs are vinyl only... but it's only a shame for the last two (Vasana and An Island Insane), because most of their stuff released as EP or split material isn't really worthy except for a few songs.

No problem. I'd rather have people check out what I recommend, then comment on my reviews, to be honest. That's what it's all about.

On the other hand, it would be difficult for me to think if a band more different to Coroner than Corrupted... they represent paradigmatically the extreme technic and minimalism in metal respectively... both are among my favourite bands, btw

I'm glad it is that way though Because otherwise I wouldn't have found out about this band!

Why do you say that? if it's by the album's title, it makes total sense if you ask me (it translates as "It's Made Out Of Assassin Dreams" btw). On the other hand, this band has some of the best lyrics ever written in spanish... broken spanish, but they still make sense and are very deep...

Well, it's Sueños instead of Suenos. And checking other albums' lyrics like Paso Inferior you can see that their spanish is understandable, but not good at all.

So? Many bands have lyrics which are written in terrible English (first one that springs to mind is Dimmu Borgir) are which are sung in horrendous English (Scorpions etc.) as long as it works it's fine by me.

Still, if you know a better lyric in Spanish than "Paso Inferior", I would be pleased to read it... I know it has a lot of minor (and I mean, really minor) grammar mistakes, but I certainly can live with that...

My point is that if they insist in singing and writing in other language, the least they can do is learn the language correctly. Maybe some syntax mistakes can be overlooked. But grammar mistakes are just awful, I mean, you just need a dictionary to write a word correctly.

Then your reasoning applies to about 90% of all metal bands around.
Most horrible grammar around is still Dimmu Borgir IMO

Who cares. Lyrics don't matter much, especially if you can't even hear what the dude is saying.
As for the album, I'll download it soon enough. I have one of their albums, which I don't care for at all, but I'll give this a try.
