Satan Mit Uns is a wonderfully horrible album title. A pentagram printed on your CD is great. A booklet full of corpsepainted faces and arms full of spikes, songtitles such as "Black Metal Legions Of The Daemons" and "His Majesty's Return", a cover of Darkthrone, yeah yeah we get it Diagon.

Now you probably expect me to slag off Diagon for being a boring, mediocre Darkthrone-rip off. But I'm not going to do that. Yeah, they are a shameless Darkthrone rip-off, but most of their riffs are pretty cool. It's just a shame the drummer ate a few too many happy-peppy-pills and keeps on pounding his cowhides. Which sound like those typical empty cans. A shame really, but then again, it's part of this. Mr. Vocalist worships Nocturno Culto (surprise surprise!) and rasps his throat in vehement fashion.

It's going to be a short review, but this is really all I have to say. All in all, pretty standard stuff from a dead sub- subgenre (Raw Black metal), but performed with passion and therefore quite enjoyable. You can also listen to Darkthrone instead of this, or the bigger Second Wave bands. Whatever.
