Plenty of great albums that year. The Purple, Sabbath, Yes and Wishbone Ash ones are my favourites on your list.

Purple also released the stunning live album Made in Japan and Jethro Tull released the masterpiece Thick as a Brick. Genesis did Foxtrot, ELP did Trilogy and Pink Floyd did Obscured by Clouds. And then of course there's Exile on Main St.

Captain Beyond, Heep, Sabbath, Budgie, Yes, Wishbone Ash - that was great year.!

Genesis - Foxtrot was great, too, even Pink Floyd's Obscure by Clouds.
