Doom metal happens to be my favourite musical genre specifically death doom. An attempt to all albums I have listened to and rated. In no particular order.

Black Sabbath - Paranoid
The album is not totally doom. More like proto doom. However some songs really depress you. 9/10

Anathema - Serenades
One of my favourite albums in general. Just skip the last track. Also I think it helps when you are shit-stoned to enjoy the slow melodies. 9/10

Anathema - The Silent Enigma
Awesome album and the transition handled was great. Solid album with a few not so great songs but still decent. 8.5/10

Anathema - Alternative 4
Pretty solid album. No death elements anymore, transitioning towards their modern alternative rock sound. 8/10

Paradise Lost - Gothic
Unfortunately I could never get into Paradise lost too much, maybe because their songs are way too straight forward for me. It has its moments though. 6.5/10

My Dying Bride - Turn Loose The Swans
Really decent album. It does not hold the revered place that is considered by some. 8/10

Disembowelment - Transcendence Into The Peripheral
Awesome album. Impressive, chilling atmosphere. 9/10

Katatonia - Brave Murder Day
One of the albums that got me into death doom and extreme metal in general. Sweet. 9/10

Katatonia - Dance Of December Souls
Good debut, unlike anything in their later discography. 7.5/10

Dusk - ...Majestic Thou In Rain
Impressive, really impressive album. Like Disembowelment but better. 9.5/10

Lake Of Tears - Headstones
Their final album with a little bit of doom. Mostly gothic. Enjoyable nonetheless. 8/10

Rippikoulu - Musta Seremonia
Damn only if the lyrics were in English, but their own native language has its charm though. 9/10

Unholy - The Second Ring Of Power
Diverse album with some awesome guitar work. 8.5/10

Sadness - Ames De Marbre
Again more gothic than doom. Very eclectic and different. Check out the awesome screamed vocals. 7.5/10

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
All I can say Wow. 9/10

Supuration - The Cube
Really unorthodox. Awesome atmosphere, good vocals. Don't like 1308.JP.... whatever. 8/10

Morgion - Solinari
Brutal, depressive, borderline funeral doom, not for everyday listen. 8.5/10

Desire - Infinity... A Timeless Journey Through An Emotional Dream
Again not an everyday listen. 8/10

Acid Bath - When The Kite String Pops
Excellent amalgamation of doom, sludge and ton of other influences. Violence, peace all in one. 9/10

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath Vol. 4
My favourite album of theirs. Loved the shrill sound. 9.5/10

Novembre - Novembrine Waltz
Its doom but also makes you happy. Alcest comes in mind sometimes, deathish though. Solid Album. Need to check Arte Novecanto out. 8.5/10

Winter - Into Darkness
The atmosphere is so damn oppressive. One of the few albums where drums take the forefront. 8.5/10

Ahab - The Call Of The Wretched Sea
One of the most accessible funeral doom albums. Awesome though 8.5/10

Pretty much a perfect list, I agree with all points, especially when you said Black Sabbath Vol. 4 is their best album. I actually don't know Novembre, but everything else is great
