A little list series where I list my top 20 favorite metal albums every year starting from the year I was born in.
1993 was a great year for metal second wave black metal stars to kick in, and a great year for both death and gothic metal. 93 also saw the release of one of the most iconic power metal albums and anthems

Also, since we're talking about 1993, Smashing Pumpkins' Siamese Dream is in my top 10 albums of all time. Also worth mentioning are albums by Björk, PJ Harvey, Stereolab, Suede, Fugazi, A Tribe Called Quest, Souls Of Mischief, Cypress Hill, Digable Planets, Unwound, Polvo, Naked City, Yo La Tego, Moss Icon, The Afghan Whigs, Mazzy Star, Einsturzende Neubauten, The Flaming Lips, Motorpsycho, Quicksand, Primus, Life Of Agony, Dropdead.
