Ratings based on potential repeat listens, with 7 being whatever threshold makes sense to me in that moment. Consistency is key, after all.

	2.	The Canyon Observer - Figura (7.5) [atmospheric sludge/post-metal] [Slovenia] Chaotic, anxious, jazzy, wild.
	3.	Vale Of Amonition - Immortalizing The Lugubrious, Or Those Of Evolving Despair (7.0) [progressive doom] [Uganda] Interesting lyrics hold this up nicely.
	4.	Ὁπλίτης - Ψ​ε​υ​δ​ο​μ​έ​ν​η (7.0) [progressive black] [China] Greek-inspired Chinese one-man band. Quite a mouthful.
	5.	Iravu - A Fate Worse Than Home (6.5) [atmospheric black] [Malaysia] Fantastic storytelling and mission but music doesn't really hit me.
	6.	Thy Darkened Shade - Liber Lvcifer II: Mahapralaya (6.0) [black] [Greece] Interesting use of invocations as lyrics but does little for me. Bass sound is nice though.
	7.	Great Cold Emptiness - Immaculate Hearts Will Triumph (6.0) [atmospheric black/funeral doom] [U.S.] Doesn't deviate much from formula, minus last couple of minutes.
