It's raw and ritualistic, and there's lots of complex instrumentation and plenty of rhythm and tempo changes. So much has obviously gone into this, it took em long enough to release but it's still a pretty impressive release.

Really love the sound, but there comes a point where latin chants about satan get a little bit corny.

This one didn't resonate with me in the way I figured it would. The chanting and choir segments felt awkward and overused but the songwriting aside from that is excellent. I'll likely re-evaluate later in the year but for now this feels like another "really good but not great" black metal album.
