Never liked Killing Machine and Bri'ish Steel, so I'd put Firepower above them both. But outside of that my top 8 would look very similar(just kick out the Killing Machine out of top 8), maybe a little different order for the 5-8 spots. 70's Priest was way superior, and Rocka Rolla 100% belongs in the top 8.
Thanks for posting here,
I make no secret I love 70s Priest the most. Even Killing Machine.

Not surprised to disagree with many ranks in detail, while being in line with the overall picture. With Priest it is always the same, everybody has a different ranking when it comes to the single albums.
I have never been able to put each album in a distinct order, would rather put them groupwise.
ranks 1-3: Sad Wings, Stained Class, Painkiller
ranks 4-5: Screaming, Defenders
ranks 6-8: AngelOR, Firepower, British Steel
ranks 9+: all the rest

Would probably swap Firepower and Sad Wings honestly.

We got 4/5 same albums in top five other than that it's quite different
Great to see another JP list nonetheless. Demolition is waaaay to low though

Well, groove Priest does little for me, although there are a few listenable songs on that album.

Except for the bottom 3 it's nearly impossible to rank the rest of the albums in any given order. I am probably the only one though that would put Turbo as number 1, simply because it was the first Judas Priest album I ever heard and have loved it ever since. "Hot For Love" has my favourite guitar solo of all time.

Turbo at number 1 is the hottest take possible.
Not impossible to rank, just difficult.

Now do the Dream Theater ranking
it's one list per week, isn't it? I think on February 2nd or 3rd, I can create another list.

I see you have a soft spot for 70s Priest. Painkiller was actually my introduction to the band after I picked up a cheap second-hand CD when I was young and just started listening to heavy metal (mainly due to the cover), and I remember being absolutely blown away by it, and so it's remained a favorite since, for nostalgia reasons. I often wonder if I started with their early releases first and worked my way up whether I would have a different outlook

I didn't start with the 70s Judas Priest, that would have been great though.
I think it was with some 80s Priest. But 70s Priest clicked with me instantly, remaining my favorite ever since.
