I first listened to Scar Symmetry when I saw Pitch Black Progress ranked highly on the MS top 200 albums around 2008/09 time (before. I loved the contrast between the brutal death metal and melodic vocals, with the music being just as impressive! Christian Älvestam has actually become one of my all-time favourite vocalists and Per Nilsson one of my favourite guitarists. I went on to discover their other albums and found one of my favourite bands.
