I listened to MGLA for the first time even though I have heard their name being mentioned in a lot of blogs. Youtube had a lot of reaction requests to it and I deliberately ignored them so as to delay my gratification. And boy, am I glad I followed through. Age of Excuse iii itself is worth waiting for this long. Amongst other things what I find absolutely delightful is the tight composition of these song. That along with their nihilistic viewpoints lyrically is a definite plus for me.

The lyrics are absolutely great.

Masterpiece

Bland, easy to forget and just because they stand a step higher than UADA, I wouldn't call this a masterpiece at all. My touchstone is not UADA!!! anyway.

Again.. double kick drumming, tremolo picking, double kick drumming, tremolo picking. Even solos sound like riffs. It's getting boring..

Great video! My favourite part is from 6'10'' to 6'13'' when the camera enters the building where the band plays.

"Age Of Excuse VI" is one of the best songs of the previous decade. The music and the lyrics are so powerful.

I love the flow of this album. For me it's their finest effort, slightly above the previous releases.

If someone would ask me which black metal album is melodic yet powerfull and dark this is propably what i would answer to them
