If it wasn't for Masterplan and Avantasia I would have already written him off.

Don't forget about Ark. His best performance (to me) is on the album Burn the Sun.

As soon as I posted this I knew someone would remind me of Ark. Addition accepted.

Going to add Beyond Twilight. Crying has some insane vocals.

His voice is ridiculous, and I do listen to his solo stuff, but it's really just for the voice. They're very generic songs. The best Jorn is where he's singing someone else's writing, or he's part of a band.

(I think Trond Holter wrote the Dracula album? I liked that one).

This is...ok? Again, the voice carries it. His song choice is odd, to say the least, but I suppose this is what he listens to. Mighty Quinn is the pick of the bunch, imo.

This is an american thing, kids what grew up in the free world, and as European Jörn did it
He knew the think, the classic songs and make excellent cover album.
I love each of those original songs as well, but he make it rock, and do it hard
Best cover album of the year and maybe best rock as well, its brilliant, old classic songs
from the free world, from the west, from the america,
How cam I never get bored from this dude, solo, own songs, cover he pics good cover, not those as others does. why?

I love Jorn's solo stuff. I pefer his albums over any Avantasia (as much as I love them). I love these covers to death.
