Teitanblood create music so hellish that they might as well write the next DOOM soundtrack.

What the? a 5.3 currently? This is a great album by these Spanish death metal monsters, once again.

Two people complaining about the rating and yet neither have cast their own vote.

That has to be one of the rules of Metal Storm, no?

Mathematically represented by the equation that the sum of any two sides of an isosceles complaint is equal to the square root of the remaining whine.

I don't rate anything. Not even my all-time favourite albums. I only rate albums when I review them for Lords Of Metal. Not rating albums when reviewing for a webzine or printed zibe is just wimping out.

Equally absurd is none has commended the imaginative use of English here.

The production here is fantastic. The mix of ambient passages with the aural assaults and the more traditional black/death parts is done in a very flowing, arty style that I like. I think I read somewhere that VK from Vassafor did the mixing, not sure though.
And I am a bit unsure of the actual content, at times it seems like the sound of this is better than the music, its a vey dense album so it needs more spinns... I like the change in direction, great addition and variety to their disc.

Yeah this album is an absolute ripper. Enough core death metal to keep this from straying too far into the ambient/spooky boredom fest that similar albums suffer from.

This is like a less memorable, poorly mixed, a bit more sludgy, boring as hell, discount Slayer, that lacks all that makes Slayer great : the drumming, the riffing and the vocals. The guitars are just fast, it's clear that the guy can't write riffs, and it seems like the drummer can't even keep up the tempo, also the vocals could just fuck off and make it an instrumental album and I wouldn't have noticed. Damn, it isn't even as heavy or as hellish as Slayer. It doesn't deserve any praise.

Well I noticed the similarity as soon as the second song. If it was late 80s people would consider this a bad rip-off.
But that similarity is not the point, "The guitars are just fast, it's clear that the guy can't write riffs, and it seems like the drummer can't even keep up the tempo, also the vocals could just fuck off and make it an instrumental album and I wouldn't have noticed" this is the point.

Wow I didn't think you would like it this much, Damn I didn't think I would dislike it this much. I liked it in the beginning, don't know what went wrong that made me hate it enough to come here and write comments about it, different strokes for different folks I guess.

You aren't wrong. People seriously overestimate music quality in the 80s past.
