The band plays like a dream, but the godawful singer manages to ruin it all up. This album sounds like a missing link between classic hard rock like Rainbow and Yngwie's band, at times Silver Mountain even sounds like some cheap 90's US power metal band. This could have been really something else with a better vocalist.

Earliest Jens Johansson record? I think so, and it's quite good too, with not the best songs ever, though. The band sounds a lot like the neoclassical metal bands that didn't exist these days and it would take at least a decade to stuff like this get more popular. Good nice early heavy metal.
