I completely ignored the release date just to wait until someone would tell me how long I still have to wait before I can buy/download the album.
I really appreciate the effort for reminding me.
I totally don't have anything to do better than hoping and awaiting new albums while I can't do anything useful and sit at home purposeless watching at a screen during this over-hyped and totally exaggerated flu-virus.

"Inhumane Harvest" and "Murderous Rampage" sound promising. I hope the rest of the album is just as good. It may not be breaking new ground, but good ol' CC never disappoints.

Only 2 months and 14 days...

Less than a week to go, I can't wait any longer!

Got my preorder vinyl today and it rips. I loved Red Before Black and so far this is good but not that good, but one listen is all I have in.

Received my copy today. Listened to it only once so far, which is nowhere near enough times to judge how it stacks up against the rest of their discography. Probably somewhere in the middle? I mean, it's Cannibal Corpse; you know what to expect. If you're already a fan, you'll have fun with it. If you're not a fan, this album won't change your mind about them.

I like it, but I'd be surprised if it won DM album of the year since the band remains in its comfort zone and doesn't do anything new.

BTW, I'm a little disappointed that the uncensored cover art (the one with the torn baby) is not included anywhere in the booklet (at least not in the European CD version that I have). Why even tease us with the cover when we can't have it? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's exclusive to (some) vinyl copies.

Better than previous.

Monster of an album. Obvious impact of Eric Ruitan on this. Tracks like "Condemnation Contagion", and totally devastating "Ritual Annihilation" are one of the best that band played for their entire career, But this is still Cannibal Corpse! Masters of their craft at their peak... and persons who look for something new shouldn't even try.

Maybe the best from fisher era

Inhumane Harvest has to be one of my favorite Cannibal Corpse songs now. I've been listening to that song several times a week since it was announced. The rest of the album sounds consistent to me with no notable weak points. Just an all around solid album. Definitely an improvement over Red Before Black.

Because people love it !

This album kicks all sorts of asses. I don't care how predictable they are, as long as they're predictably awesome.

This is better than the one before it.

Surprisingly good. I haven't listened to CC since Gallery Of Suicide, and hadn't really cared for too much of it up to that point. I might check out Torture too, since it was highly rated

This is easily among their top 5 albums.

Album is awesome until track 6, after that becomes a bit stale. Inhumane Harvest is one of their best songs ever.

I really was interested if this album could wake my interest in CC again. This is just better than Red Before Black in every way, it sounds like they finally have their energy and creativity back that was lacking in the last 2 records. Solid throughout!

With so many years of work and so much music released, this band is sometimes seen as "more of the same": pure, fast and brutal Death Metal, with no space for many deviations. The new album continues with this path, however introduces new melodies and ideas, which make this a very fresh and very good experience. The inclusion of Erik Rutan (guitar) in the band causes new influences to appear and offers the album extra momentum, making it easy to maintain interest in the entirety of the 43 minutes of new music. "Inhumane Harvest" is one of the best songs Cannibal Corpse has released in recent years and "Surround, Kill, Devour" features one of the band's most captivating chorus'. This is an excellent record, which brings a new aura to the group and shows that Cannibal Corpse still has a lot to offer to the world of Death Metal.

Maybe I have said this about their previous few albums, but this is worst of their catalogue.

Not at all. It's just that most will only listen to releases from the established bands and CC are very popular.

I think this is a surprisingly good release from them but it's not even close to being in my top 10 favorite releases of 2021 and we're only 4 months in.

Off the top of my head, I can think of 5 or 6 death-metal albums I prefer and that's not even considering other genres and sub-genres.
