Time for some rusty metal for the hopeless generations forced to see the natural resources being sucked dry by big corp. Time for an ode to post-industrial towns that were drained, pillaged and raped, and then were left to ruin when they had nothing more to give.

Damn there's a huge gap between the vocal and the instrumentals here. The instrumentals sound like some progressive post metal, the vocals sound like some stoner sludge. Both of them really good, but fit like oil and water.

This album rips, it's a total banger through and through. Heavy, groovy, and even thrashy at times. "Town Burner" is a real barn burner.

In a midst of a busy schedule, this kind of post charges me up. I'll certainly get around in the evening and checking this out. It touches my nerves.

Giving this another try (only took 3 months), it's a damn great album - the instrumentation is quite ambitious at times in terms of dynamics, structuring and intricacies in the guitar work (some of which reminds me a bit of mastodon, which I fear I'm saying too much recently). On the flip side, you've got those primal Matt Pike-esque roars, but I think they work well together. Really like this

Damn, this album is like really fine wine. The guitar riffs are intricately layered on the vocals, this is an album that you can actually listen for some time. My favourite song here is Ruhr.
