When you devote most of your career on themes about cosmic terrors annihilating mankind's senses, at some point you have to wander what is left after the psychological Armageddon is over. Hagbulbia explores that scenario.

I'm honestly surprised how unnoticed this went within the community of portal worshippers here and around the web. It is hard to make a recognizable death industrial/ drone/ noise record that is supposedly trying to make hellish pictures these days, but the miracle of this album is that you could guess who is behind the record just by listening to it.

That is understandable. Admittedly, they are extreme in their disregard for conventional musical norms even within the underground metal scene.

This thing is just noise, like mixing bee hive sounds with static and scratching the back of your throat to pretend you're singing. Most of their albums are the same pattern, but I especially appreciate the other one from the last year because it reminds me a lot of Chthe'ilist's Le Dernier Crépuscule, which is one of my favorite atmospheric death metal records of all time.
