Song is OK, for this band if we judge their latest albums I can say its OK, but for their name .... no

They've released much worse things than that in the past (late 90s especially). Also I don't expect them to release something as good as their glory days, it's impossible. The songs I've heard so far are good, I think it's gonna be a good album.

I have high hopes for this

When was this recorded? in 70's?
Their best after ''Love At First Sting'' it has rock n roll, rock, metal riffs, different song writing, approach still good lyrics. Really for band what is ''dead'' in album front, they come back whit this one, its really I might say my best in this year.

I was expecting much worse. For now it has been just one spin, but it's suprisingly energetic and catchy. Good album. Solid 7/10. But I will rate it later.

They've been around for donkey's years now, and yet still manage to produce reasonably good music, still using their solid trademark riffs. The songwriting here though is a long way off the standards they have achieved in the past, and I think 16 songs is just pushing it a wee bit, when there is maybe three songs here that I believe to be reasonably good, the rest I believe to be ranging from average to sub par, but still a very good effort.

And imo their single "Seventh Son" is a very good song, just as good as some of their classic material.

Great album. Considering that Scorpions as a band are active for 50 years, this album is absolutely great. It is a tribute to their past. Almost every song is a specific reference to a previous smash hit from their past. Enjoyable melodies, pretty solid performance, and right-to-the-point vocals. At least 13 out of 15 songs in the album have reason to exist.

Having listened the whole album I think it's a pretty respectable effort at this point of their career.

Lacks the energy of Crazy World but overall respects their history of elegant yet strong riffs, great vocals (Amazing that Klaus's voice it's just now that starts showing his age, and yet is still super clean).

I just would argue that the melodies are a bit uninspired, but hey, hats off !

Can't help but feel pleased for this album so far. It's been just one spin but it's not a rip-off of older songs (well, as much as this is possible for a band's 19th album) while still keeping the style alive. Definitely Klaus doesn't have as much power in his lungs as he used to but his voice is super clean and powerful in the short moments it can show, plus they didn't try to overdo it just because it's a studio album.
The melodies are as "SCORPIONS" as they always were. I mean, they've released their first album 51 years ago (and they've been a band for 57)!!! They are over 70 (or close to that anyway). So, releasing an album with such quality and songwriting after all those years?! The guys still remain young in their souls! That's a solid 9/10!

What's with having to get multiple versions of the same album just to get all the international bonus tracks? They did that with Return To Forever. I think it's a grubby move.
Why not just do a 18 track album or go all in and do a double album proper

I finally listened to it yesterday, good album, still three bonus tracks I have not heard.

Top 5 in 2022 at now for me EZ ..... amazing record

Only two tracks caught my attention - Shining Of Your Soul and Seventh Sun - but stil as a fanboy, I dont wanna rate them less. Surprised they have given me two tracks to lusten to on their 50th anniversary.
