Made In Iron !!!!

The riffs are extremely catchy, they sound very much German speed metal influenced, much like early Running Wild, and the overall sound and production style reminds me of Paul DiAnno era Iron Maiden. These guys are not original in the slightest, but they are damn good their musical performance is absolutely spot on, but with better songwriting and lyrics, and less punky vocals these could be immense.

Very entertainig

Maule is a pleasant discovery even though I am not a big HM fan. As mentioned by AndyMetalFreak comment the riffs are rather memorable & fun while vocals do sound at times like they are from a punk band. Singer and his vocals actually remind me sometimes of that guy from Municipal Waste and Iron Reagan which is not a bad thing imo. Cover art is pretty decent. It has a different style then most covers from other modern HM acts which i dont really like because they are too often reminiscent of comic book art & therefore a bit childish. Album art on Maule`s debut looks more like a cover for an extreme metal band (BM or DM). Overall in my view Maule album is somewhere in the range of 8 to 9 stars rating. Sure as mentioned above it`s not original but it is well executed especially for a debut. I will be keeping an eye on Maule for future releases!
