This is definetly one of my favorite albums of all time, but they were ahead of their time a little bit. Khans vocals on this album is seriously godlike, Parallel Minds and The Promiser are simply amazing. Solid 11/10

One of the greatest, most enjoyable prog-power albums ever made. Compared to their later records Parallel Minds is still leaning towards power metal just like their first album did, but this time everything just clicks and there's no filler or shortage of energy to be found here. Conception is one of those rare prog bands who don't necessarily fill their music with pointless wankery, but keep it relatively simple. This album is like a fine wine, it only gets better with time.

At times a brilliant record, Tore Østby is such a phenomenal guitarist and Khan is great as always.. Conception was one of those bands that had a very unique sound and songwriting, and it has aged incredible well.
