Don't see this song in the tracklisting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6MtPvVixvQ
either they've changed the name, or the previous guitarist had ownership rights to it?

I asked their FB fan page the same question a week ago, and they said...it was another song, not for this album.

Far from their best work, certainly not as memorable as Martyrs or Veronika, but a solid release nonetheless. The album takes a bit to really get going, it's not the sort of album that hits you right away, the tracks have the kind of build-ups which you can lose yourself in. Their certainly masters of the melancholic gothic doom sound, you simply can't deny that.
"The Calling" and "Truth" are clear stand outs so for me.

They still have that charm, but yeah... Paulo Coelho is yet standing more proud than Nadya Agard. The title track and Closing The Circle stand out the most for me.

You know this is a great album when people mention most of the tracklist as "standout tracks". I'd like to add Breathe New Life to the list, I love that more upbeat, straightforward Gothic song towards the end, it gives the album a whole new dynamic. It's not Veronika, but it's a great album, most likely it will end up in my top 10 this year.

Good album, but not great as their previous ones.
It will be a grower? I hope, but I don't think so...

This is somewhere between "good" and "very good" in my ears. I enjoyed it much more than Veronika Decides To Die. I've given that album numerous chances, as it is called their best by many, but it did nothing for me. Haven't bothered with Saturnus for a long time after that, but I am glad I gave them a new chance with this album. Quality release, this, even if it's no masterpiece.

So long time waiting for a new Saturnus album, they are releasing something new every 12 years haha, but this album really has an incredible atmosphere, that deep guttural is extraordinary.

Good album but they're borrowing some of the chorus melody from Insomnium's "Lose To Night" on "The Calling". If it's intentionally or not, I don't know.

I can accept the absence of the shouting vocal style on this album. I cannot accept it to be permanently absent from future releases.

I pre-ordered directly from the record label. I received an email last week that the albums have been shipped to me (Canada). Yesterday, Prophecy Productions sent a complementary download code (via email) to their bandcamp for the preordered album (acknowledging the expectation of delayed delivery for international customers). Not sure if this helps you, but this is the situation I have experienced.

As expected, a great album. They had lineup changes, but it was good to see the new members aligned themselves with the Saturnus sound perfectly. The compositions are so well thought out and the atmosphere becomes captivating whenever the melodic guitars kick in.
Saturnus also has this knack of writing a lyric here and there that pulls on my heartstrings. It was "Pretend you knew me, pretend you cared", for the 16-year-old, "I no longer run, I stand my ground and wait" for the 22-year-old... and "Every time I try to go, the waves bring me home" for the 32-year-old me.
Favorite songs so far: Truth (that lovely guitar solo at the end <3 ), Even Tide, Closing the Circle

Huh, this is the first album in a while where the rating's been going progressively up not down.
Edit: Nevermind.

FInally this was released on bandcamp and sadly I must say, that I am a bit disappointed. Yes, it´s beautiful, but its always the same kind of beauty. Also it´s roughly always the same kind of tempo and atmosphere. And it´s of course too long.

Oh dear oh dear
I used to like listening to Saturnus so when it appeared on best albums list I made sure I got enough of time to digest it. And, unfortunately, I can't. After 3rd track it became apparent that this is it, nothing else is going to happen there. Maybe, almost reaching end of 5th decade of my life, I am too old for music like that? It does not appeal to me at all. So far it's 6 from me but I sincerely hope that will change with time. I will try again in few weeks

First time listening to saturnus and this one completely floored me. If this is the level of songwriting to be expected from this band then I am in for some pleasant surprises. Favourite songs are definitely eventide and closing circle but all the songs featured here are atleast a 9. Terrific, terrific release.
