This album really doesn't come close to the follow up in quality to me. Most of the songwriting is fairly one dimensional/meandering and really doesn't seem to amount to much.

This and the follow up are their best albums for me. The follow up is superior in songwriting quality, I agree, but it has this somewhat annoying production, which the one at hand doesnt.
I did not find anything of my interest in their post 1993 releases.
