Finland and old-school thrash metal aren't words you usually see in one sentence referring to each other. Well, sit back and enjoy Fierce's Where the Flames Prey. Fierce are from Helsinki, Finland and Where The Flames Prey is a demo mcd featuring, you guessed it, old-school thrash metal.
Where The Flames Prey is Fierce's second demo. Whereas their first demo (Moshter) was apparently heavily influenced by Finnish speed metal legends Stone and Airdash Where The Flames Prey is absolutely more thrash oriented with way more aggression and heavier songs in the vein of Sacred Reich, Slayer, Testament, Exodus, and Dark Angel, albeit helped by a heavy clear modern production at times reminding me of this year's Killing Peace by Onslaught.
