I hate the vocals tbh but the instrumentals are some of my favorite I’ve heard in awhile. Death of the Architect is amazing and Alieneted is pretty good as well

I agree the vocals perhaps bring the album down slightly, maybe they could have done with a tad more variation? But instrumentally it's very impressive though. "Death Of The Architect" is one of the best songs I've heard so far this year, and "Dysphoria" is also another stand-out for me.

Absolutely dope album, they really hit the nail on the head with this!
Definitely one of my proudest Clandestine Cuts discoveries.

Alright, this definitely took me by surprise. "Death of the Architect" is probably one of the best songs I've heard this year so far, and the album had me hooked by the intro of "Metaphysicize".

I too miss some vocal variation though, but apart from that the songwriting is great!

This is their best so far; they started off well in Clandestine Cuts but have evolved really strongly

I'd give it a perfect score if it wasn't such a bummer 😔😕

That is usually the case.

Practically perfect. While the vocals don't have the dynamic that I'd like from a band like this, the fact that there are long passages of instrumentation completely makes up for the vocal performance. Easy contender for album of the year. FFO Hari-kiri for the Sky, Panopticon, Mol, etc.
Great blend of post-rock and black metal with hard-hitting grooves and modern production that doesn't take away from the emotional capacity of the music

I'm not gonna pop in a rating as I haven't listened in depth, but even from a short listen this surely can't count as Post-Metal, or at least not with some other tags too? This has frequent harsh vocals and double bass passages that are in no way short or fleeting, if Alcest has "Atmospheric Black Metal" in their genre tags then this certainly needs something similar adding in there, because slow and soft sections or not, this isn't an album I would ever simply call Post-Metal
