Lingua Ignota is no more, but the exploration of unknown language endures; Persefone announce the arrival of their new vocalist in style with a typically excellent EP.

Liked it a lot of course. Short and sweet with good tracks. Part I usually implies a Part II unless you're Jari so I wonder when that will come out, later this year maybe? At least there'll be new stuff to listen to while we wait for Metanoia's follow up.

My biggest issue with these guys' music is they can never maintain a riff long enough for it to etch itself into my memory. Too progressive for their own good😅

A fair comment, there are times that they move too fast between sections for their own good; thinking back, 2 of their most memorable songs for me, Living Waves and Spiritual Migration, both have sections in which they dwell on one particular riff or pattern for a while

I like the harsh vocals much better now vith new vocalist. But this is still unmistakenly Persefone, with their almost schematic trademarks in rhytmics and chord progression, which I don´t enjoy that much. But after first listen I feel, like thay added few layers here and there, like the multi vocals in Lingua Ingota song, it just sounds much better, than their older stuff like in Purity song from Shin-Kei.

Decent EP although not completely blown away by it. The title track really stands out for me most with the vocals being the main stand-out feature.

Nah. This one was boring and over produced. None of the songs captured my attention.

If you think this sounds overproduced I recommend you stay away from their most recent few albums.
