The time period when I was most into deathcore was around 2012 when Whitechapel released their self titled album, which I still think is the best deathcore album ever made. Fast forward to 2023 and I don't really listen to deathcore anymore with some few exceptions, Within Destruction being one of those. These Slovenians deliver some deliciously gnarly breakdowns, just listen to the last minute of "Fallen Omen" and you'll understand what I mean.
