I am curious what this will be like. Track titles sound... extra folk-y?

Fuck yeah! The album title reminds me how I've been waiting forever for another Turisas but this will definitely make the wait more bearable. Folk scene has been a little dry compared to the good old days but Tyr can be depended on to quench my thirst.

Same here, but I haven't lost hope yet. I saw a video of them on Facebook quite a while back rehearsing, and they seemed to be touring a few years ago, so theres that. But honestly I don't keep up as much anymore in general.

Most anticipated of the year so far. I've got "Axes" basically on repeat, it's so short and sweet😁

Battle Ballads made me feel once again what the music by bands like Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Turisas, Agalloch, and Týr itself did a decade and a half ago when I first learned of folk metal. This is a glorious record.

Týr simply does not disappoint.

I'm sorry to say that I was quite bored throughout the album.. Maybe it just has to take some time to settle. Maybe I'm just not that into their thing anymore, yet I still enjoy their earlier stuff from back when I was a teenager. They have always done some great music

Neverminded vikings are vikings. I have not listen to this band so much, well old ones was better, but I dont mind this. I can listen it and enjoy . Time is ok 41 minute. Perfect

This album really hits the spot for me. I got goosebumps many times. Really fresh and energetic and full of good hooks. Viking metal as it's best

Catchy, fun start! Sadly, closer to the middle of album songs became little dull. I plan to give it more try later.

Started with a good track but what followed was routine and average music except 'Row'. Expectation not met this time
