I really dont get new Exhorder, everything good about the first releases is gone, no sound, no punch, no aggression, no interesting riffs or drums, just the most generic thrash possible. I would never have guessed it bears its name on a blind test.

And yet you rated it a 7?

not a discussion about ratings again... I rated it 6, then upped to 7, because it's still clean, it's still a thrash album, it still has some appeal, I can see people enjoying this, and I'm in the bright side of the scale lately, but if you insist I turn it back to 6, little I care. Or why not 5? the only important part is that it's out of my collection and I will not come back to it.

I don't need notes, I just need 'not checked yet / checked', 'care / don't care', and 'didn't like / liked / loved'

Yeah, I agree. Defectum sounds tired and boring, huge letdown. I love their original albums and found the last one great, but this fails to get any emotion out of me.

Just pretty average groove/thrash material for me really. It's a band that's kinda starting to sound like a watered down version of Pantera with a hint of Overkill that's without any oomph.

You ain’t missing anything. This band only released one good album and that’s the debut.

Honestly it’s hilariously ironic that they’re straight up ripping off Pantera when once upon a time Exhorder were the “inventors” of groove metal and Pantera were the ones ripping off their sound.

Bad English

Good insult, abrasive, extreme, brutal vocals , screams, crossover trashy punky ''rawy'' music , only its 10 min to long for genre.

I'm surprised to see some of you realising that Exhorder rip Pantera from every scratch here, when they have started doing from the debut album - Slaughter in the Vatican.

Light years away from Slaughter. New album have good moments in "patches", but overall it sounds disjointed and stale. Will save couple of tracks in my playlist.
