Stellar artwork. Very promising single that dropped too.

“Black dawn” and the “The Bird People” are the highlights, amazing songs. The rest is a bit meh, but I love the sound/mix of the album in general. Very cold, spacey, stoner black metal vibe.

Artwork is also amazing.

Crunchy. I'm surprised how much I enjoy it, gives me old school vibes.

After they stop play kvlt tr00 bm, they somehow put punk,raw sound, doomy, blacky vibes into music and it works. Si plr drums n riffs. I like they latest albums.

Already the most underrated Darkthrone album on Metalstorm. This is great stuff. Way better than the last few.

Just Darkthrone doing what they've done best really. A typical big chunky ass tone, with mid-tempo grungy slogging riffs, and a dirty raw production. Pretty decent I'd say.

To me the appeal of Darkthrone is 80% attitude and 20% songwriting. I love their sound , the way the present themselves, their vision but damn they fail again and again to keep me interested in a single song.

I actually didn’t mind this! Nothing extraordinary, but a bit better put together than their previous releases in this style IMO.

seems like they've really settled for the dirty heavy metal with a few doom/black elements style. not many changes in the last 5 albums, but I wont be the one complaining.
the usual riff based old school raweness, never forgetting celtic frost and even a bolt throweresque intro (Eon 3). good to hear fenriz back on vocals, his sections are an absolute highlight (that ending on Black Dawn Afiliation!). their 10 minute+ epics throwing a few ideas around are always very cool as well.
another very decent addition to the catalog.
