Evaluating the quality of albums composed entirely of covers is tricky, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this sludge, doom, and stoner-infused interpretation of one of the all-time classics of progressive rock. I haven’t listened to Pink Floyd in many years, and apart from The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon, I don’t have a deep emotional connection to their music. However, I’d be genuinely curious to hear what true fans of the band think of this modern take on their landmark album.

This is one of my favorite albums ever, and I just finished this cover and I gotta say it’s incredibly well done. They made it their own while also staying true to the original, and they absolutely crushed the ending of Dogs. Pigs was the weakest for me because Waters’ cadence is part of what makes that song so good and this cover lost the charm of the original there. Besides that though it’s an awesome cover! If you want to hear another version, try Les Claypool’s take on it
