Last track is very impressive. I like how this album approaches the Power Metal style, yet with the old-school heavy metal feeling.

This is not only my favourite Running Wild record ever, but also my heavy/power metal album No. 1. Those riffs and melodies make me want to jump out of my skin.

Ahoi! A great Running Wild album. This is the most melodic one, I think. The eponymous song is mindblowing.

Great song, though the lyrics seem nonsense to me

Definitely a strong candidate as one of the best heavy metal albums ever! Rolf made amazing job on these compositions.

One of the most melodic but one of the heaviest as well. IMO both of these "Black Hand" songs are magnificent, but then again, most of this album is

This is imo the best by RW, and one of the best in heavy metal, RW were on top form here and delivered some of the best quality riffs in heavy metal history, and the last song was an epic masterpiece. I see this album as their ultimate peak, some of the albums that followed were good but were never going to match this classic. I see this album the same way as I see Powerslave by IM.

What a fantastically fun adventure! I love the catchy melodies and fast guitar-work! While there are many great songs here ("Soulless", "Privateer", "Freewind Rider", "Genesis"), my favorite still stays "Black Hand Inn" (the title track) - sooo damn catchy!

the lyrics are about a religion inveted by some writer. Rolf got inspired by it and felt it would be an interesting thing to sing about

I don't think that this one is a masterpiece or the best Running Wild album, but it's definitely a very enjoyable one! "The Privateer", "The Phantom Of Black Hand Hill", "Dragonmen" and the title track are some of the most stand-out songs for me here.
