Indeed they are. Totally different approaches and styles.

Senses Tied is a perfectly okay song, but a clear filler on an album filled with inspired song after inspired song. Choosing favourites from the rest is tough but Lost To Apathy and Am I 1? take some beating.

I don't understand why they don't play songs from this album live. This is to me by far their best album, one of the best metal albums of all time. It's the most aggressive, and the melodies are so dynamic and wonderful. Agreed, it is slightly different than the rest of their discography, which might be why?

They played Lost To Apathy here. That's it though.

Yeah, sadly Last To Apathy is the only one in recent times. For shame really. But I guess as Character is a bit more convoluted (read that "less catchy"), that's why to don't visit it that much...

I remember a tour a few years ago when they played My Negation, The New Build and Lost To Apathy here. Good times. I also wished they played more stuff from that record but they also have such a huge discography that it must be hard...

As the first leg of the new tour, they did a great job, really fun show, but the set list was not really to my liking. The first half was great, the second not so.

They didn't play anything from We are the Void, Character or Gallery. It was six (!) from Fiction, and five from Atoma, rest were mostly their absolute hits. :/

he was already replacing Sundin last year But he's still not a member afaik

I agree that there is only one reeeally good song on this album, but I disagree with the particular one mentioned, as for me the stand out song here is Out of Nothing. :-)

Better than The Gallery and Damage Done both combined

A fantastic album! Among my favorite DT albums, others being Gallery and Damage Done. Great guitar work, good atmosphere and production, and awesome keyboard melodies. Keyboard really gave these songs a unique feel, it's like a perfect blend of melodic death, and techno music. There are really solid tracks here, Endless Feed, Lost to Apathy, One Thought, Dry Run, and My Negation are a joy to listen to.
