Back in 2007, "The Dark Third" was a real revelation for me. Coming from United Kingdom, Pure Reason Revolution started its career with a really refreshing and original album. Obviously, the band was already one of the most innovative and original combo and "Amor Vincit Omnia" will follow this trend, even if this time, it should be a bit more polemical?

Better than the 3rd album. Not their best written songs though. I think Les Malheurs and The Gloaming from this album are what could be called "classic" PRR songs, but I don't think anything from this album touches their strongest compositions on the debut

There are some nice tracks here (particularly Apogee/Requiem For The Lovers and The Gloaming), but Disconnect is a tad irritating. Bit jump from TDT
