I missed the anniversary by two days, but 30 years ago, Peter Steele took the rotting carcass of Carnivore to channel the feelings post bitter betrayal and suicide attempt to create one of the most vile and hateful albums out there. This is basically the only gothic thrash album I can think of. It moves from organ dirges, slow doom riffs, gang vocals spouting "He knows you're fucking someone else", blistering crossover energy, and Steele's character going through unsuccessfully coping with his predicament and emotions. What is that crap on artwork? when I was teenager I had problem get into this one, after so many years I played it again on , damn I liked it well not super but actually It was good, weird lyrics, Peters voice and so on, weird song titles, but it was good one

I love this album and even better now seeing Vindsval praise Glass Walls Of Limbo. ^_^ I used to trumpet that in my uni building late at night echoing the whole studio with nobody but contempoary student art in my sights.

You should staff pick all of Type O Negative's work. Looking forward to the 25th-anniversary staff pick of Filosofem with every other 1996 album. Now following from me a few years back, might as well This album like all of their work gets massively underscored.

Unfortunately “Unsuccessfully Coping With The Natural Beauty Of Infidelity” is the only real good song on here. Everything else is meh. Better off sticking with Carnivore.
